The Maseru Club exists to fulfill the usual objects of a social club and to promote, teach and foster amateur sport, including Badminton, Golf, Riding, Squash, Swimming, Tennis, Netball, Football and other sports as decided by the Committee from time to time.

A social club for members, offering facilities, events and community. Membership classes include Honorary Life, Ordinary, Honorary, Temporary and Student Members.
Registered under the Societies Act, the Club operates under a transparent constitution that protects members, governs conduct, and mandates accountable management.

Our General Committee, elected annually, oversees every aspect of Club management and can co-opt specialists to ensure facilities and activities meet members' needs.

Members set the Club’s direction through General Meetings. An elected General Committee manages affairs, finances and sections in line with the Constitution.

Registered under the Societies Act 1966 (Reg. No. 68/12). We maintain audited accounts, uphold Club rules and by‑laws, and enforce standards of conduct.
Members enjoy access to the Club grounds, buildings and amenities, subject to reasonable regulations set by the Committee.
Recognised sports sections let members organise play, elect section committees and propose new activities through the General Committee.
Members receive notices, attend meetings, vote on reports, elect the Committee and approve major proposals, ensuring the Club reflects their interests.
Introduce guests for limited periods, sign them into the guest book, and enjoy reciprocal honorary membership arrangements authorised by the Committee.

Complete the membership form, secure a proposer and seconder of at least one year’s standing, and pay the entrance fee and subscription deposit.

Your application is displayed for 14 days, members may object, and the General Committee decides by secret ballot, with the chairperson holding a casting vote.

Once admitted, follow the constitution, keep subscriptions current, and take part in meetings, sports sections and events to retain full membership privileges.
Our constitution keeps Maseru Club member-led, promoting every branch of amateur sport while ensuring the elected General Committee remains accountable to the membership.
