Maseru Club is a members-only social club established to pursue the usual objects of a social club while promoting, teaching and fostering amateur sport including Badminton, Golf, Riding, Squash, Swimming, Tennis, Netball, Football and other activities approved by the General Committee.

Members Welfare

We foster Badminton, Golf, Riding, Squash, Swimming, Tennis, Netball, Football and other sports as recommended by members and approved by the Committee.

Recognised sections manage their own sport within constitutional bye-laws, keeping the Club’s grounds and amenities vibrant for every member.

Annual elections appoint the Chairperson, officers and Committee, ensuring members guide Club policy, finances and discipline.

Classes include Honorary Life, Ordinary, Honorary, Temporary and Student Members, each with rights set out in the constitution.

Members may use Club property subject to regulations, introduce guests and are liable for subscriptions, indebtedness and fines.

Financial records are audited yearly, and the Committee may suspend defaulters or discipline misconduct to protect the Club.
The General Committee manages the Club, led by a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and six additional members overseeing facilities, sport and governance.
Chairperson
Mr. Tankiso SPHOZOChairs meetings of the Committee and ensures that Members conduct themselves in a proper manner in accordance with the objectives of the organization.
Deputy Chairperson
Mr. Pali MASENKANEPerforms the functions of the Chairperson in his/her absence and whenever directed to do so.
Treasurer
Mr. Mita NTACHEKeeps all financial records of the organization and to attend, undertake and lead the financial reporting at the end of each financial year.
Secretary General
Ms. Relebohile Ts'ita MAHLOANERecords the minutes of the meetings and all other duties incidental to his or her office, which include keeping of books of the Club in a safe place. The Secretary shall upon termination of his/her term hand over all books and records of the Club to his/her successor.
